Editorial standards

How we research
and publish.

Clear sources, honest labels and useful context. Updated 10 October 2026.

Sources and dates

We prioritise official product documentation, pricing pages, research publications and original announcements. News includes the announcement’s publication date and a source link. A provider’s claim is attributed to that provider.

Research profiles and testing

A research profile describes documented capabilities and a potential business use. It is not an independent review, benchmark or evidence of hands-on testing. If we publish a tested review, we will state what was tested, when and under what conditions.

AI-assisted publication

AI assists source research, drafting and routine publication. Automated briefings can publish after source and availability checks. Automated tool profiles are saved for review. We do not imply that every automatically published item has received human editorial review.

Analysis and uncertainty

Our practical suggestions are analysis, not guaranteed results. We distinguish facts from judgement, explain meaningful limits and avoid invented savings, user ratings and testimonials.

Commercial relationships

Affiliate links, sponsorship and paid placements must be identified clearly. Commercial consideration does not remove the requirement for accurate claims and useful coverage. See our affiliate and commercial disclosure.

Corrections

To report a factual error, send the article URL and a supporting source through our contact page. Material corrections should be reflected in the article and its updated date.

Original work

We write original summaries and analysis. We do not reproduce another directory’s listings, reviews or images as our own. Source access restrictions and intellectual property rights must be respected.
